Flashback Two Years

Exactly two years ago this week, I was having a complete melt down because my wedding dress arrived from the shop dirty and with a giant, permanent crease in the skirt. It was also supposed to pour rain on the day of my bridal shoot at Thanksgiving Point and I was a total bridezilla, complete with fangs.

So I guess it's also a Kateastrophe . . .

Anyway, despite a horrid hair day and pouring rain, I was allowed a few minutes of perfect photography weather and some pretty amazing bridal shots. My favorite, ironically, wasn't taken by the photographer. My Mom shot this with her little digital camera.

I loved my wedding. I seriously want to get married again (to Matt of course) just to have another wedding.

Peh. You can plan mine if you want. It's not an "issue" yet (no ring, no proposal, but we both know it's coming), but I suspect it will be.

I love that pic, by the way.

Oh so pretty! My proposal hasn't happened yet either, but I know it's on the way. I already have wedding brain...I can't imagine what I'll be like when I'm actually a bride-to-be!

Kate totally HAS to plan my wedding....since I'm fairly sure that when it happens, I won't want to even know it's going on. You're still okay with that right Kate? That way, proposal to wedding can all happen in 24 hours (not enough time for me to actually become me).

That pic IS fabulous!!!

As my daughter would say... you look like a princess!
I'm actually getting married to my hubby again. Nothing big. I wish I could still fit in my dress, but I doubt that I could. I was only 100 pounds on my wedding day.
Anyway, the only reason I'm doing it is because I'm catholic and when we got married, it wasn't in the church so my marriage isn't recognized by the church. Lame...I know.

You look absolutely gorgeous, and your wedding was amazing (High praise from a woman who was, at the time, NINE months pregnant and had a hard time enjoying ANYTHING) and I remember the "these people have RUINED my wedding dress" day and so on. You had a whole bunch of nastiness thrown at your right then too, as I recall. BUT! You NEVER came across as a "bridezilla," you funny girl!

I love your dress SOOOO much!

I don't know what I'm going to do when it comes time to plan my wedding. I'll be paying for it myself, mostly, so...uh...it'll be 'frugal.' :) But I flip between being a very easy going "It'll all work out" kind of person and a "NOTHING IS RIGHT!!!!" kind of freaking-the-hell out person. So, that should be interesting to see which route I will take.
