I'm Too Irritated to Even Think of a Title

I woke up Monday morning and just knew this week wasn't going to go so well. I know I'm not alone in it either. I think there's something in the air. I know a lot of people who aren't having the best week. I also know some people who are having a great week. (Hi Hannah! Congrats on the beautiful baby!!) Good weeks are not what I'm here to talk about. Bad weeks. Focus on bad weeks.

Hi, my name is Debbie Downer. Hahaha.

It's just . . . blah.

I'm tired. I'm cranky. I hurt. I feel fat. I feel nasty. American Idol had BEE GEE'S NIGHT FOR CRYING OUT LOUD.

This morning, somehow, I slept in until 8:20. I never sleep that late, I have usually left for work by then. And somehow, I am still tired.

I had people asking me the dumbest questions today . . . and I'm usually pretty upbeat when that happens. I usually answer the question without missing a beat. Today? Not so much. Someone asked me what that "thing on your desk that holds the file folders" is called. Someone else asked me what to do when our employer's pool guy installed a vacuum that doesn't work and the employer in question doesn't want to pay for a broken pool vacuum. Someone else showed me a typical, normal, everyday thank you card and asked WHERE HE WAS SUPPOSED TO WRITE THE NOTE PART.

I'm sorry, did I miss the part where everyone but me is an idiot? I was seriously ready to punch everyone in the neck.

Then, on top of everything else, I'm craving FAT. I don't care what form it comes in. Sugar? Great. Cheese? Even better. Pasta? Come to mama. I've been SO good for so long and yesterday? Arby's . . . and I ordered cheese sticks. Today? Pizza, a giant ravioli and PIZOOKIE (read: a half pound of cookie dough, halfway cooked and topped with vanilla bean ice cream. Granted, I split it with someone but still.). I just did not have it in me to eat a vegetable or whole grain. I am just mad at those little bastards today. I wanted FAT.

Hopefully I can use my magic cheerful pills I've got hidden here somewhere to turn this thing around.

Anyone else want to share their bad week? Because, as you can tell, I'd love to commiserate!

I haven't had any bread or bread-like product in a week. It's my week anniversary of my forced gluten-free lifestyle.

>:(

Not happy about this. (My post tomorrow is whiny and gag-inducing because of the insurmountable self-pity I'm feeling. Wah. Woe is me.)

Dude, if someone took bread away from me, they might as well just kill me! I don't know how you do it! Whine away sister!

How about a crashed computer, and being told it would be cheaper to buy a new computer than fix this one...

Can anyone say, "Have you backed up recently?" :(

I have been working on a Total Body Makeover for over a month now and have been doing really well. Until this week...which has sucked so bad I just yelled at our IT guy. I'm going out to lunch for pizza. With extra cheese. And extra grease.

You already know that I posted about my 'mommy breakdown', but to add insult to injury? I'm hating my pregnant body right about now. Not to mention that when I complain about my growing thighs and belly, everyone says, "Well, you're pregnant"...and that makes it OK!?!! Ugh, I'm sick of it. I ate some carrot sticks to make me feel better...followed by some cheetos, cookies and a soda. Aaaahhhhhhhh

SEE?!? It's in the air! Stupid grumpy air.

Let's all gorge ourselves on all things bad for us. Stacy, I'll find junk food for Celiac's. Promise!

Pizookie. Oh wow.

I whine enough on my own blog, so I'll try not to clutter things up here too. But I'm tired. I'm so very tired. I can't remember the last time I got four whole hours of sleep during the night. I'm so, so tired. And that makes every other trial or challenge (or even things that AREN'T trials or challenges) totally insurmountable.

So, come eat some pasta with me. That sounds so, so good. La Dolce Vita, anyone?

sorry you're having a bad week! Hopefully it will get better. I actually really like the BeeGees (and disco dancing). I'm doing the sprinkler right now...and I'm doing the hustle next.

Speaking of dancing, maybe I should get you drunk and throw you a 70s party... then you'll appreciate them. hee hee ;-)

Ok, so i've occasionally read up on your blog, which by the way cracks me up...but with the slightest mention of a Pazookie...I felt obligated to comment! :) Those are by far the best dessert ever invented! And i miss them dearly. Maybe you could post a picture of one next time and post it on your blog. MMMMMMM....

Cherann . . . I actually like the Bee Gee's too . . . when the Bee Gee's are singing their own stuff. It was just kind of a downer week for AI!

Rylie would say that you're "superdy grumbly." Haha.
I'm sorry you had a rough day! I hate when people around me are stupid for no reason (I hate it even more when I am stupid for no reason . . .).
Oh and pass the pizookie please! I want true thunder thighs by summer!

Feeling any better, Kate?
